With all of the exciting changes happening in the Alberta Curriculum and the Teaching Quality Standard with regards to First Nation, Metis and Inuit inclusion, celebration and awareness, our council strives to provide relevant, authentic, and authoritative resources and projects for you to explore along with your students. Our council aims to inspire and provide opportunities to have intentional conversations with teachers and students about the unique place, perspectives, and cultures of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples in our society. Registration is simple! Click the yellow button above!
Register to become a member of the IEC on the ATA website by completing the registration form. You will need ensure you have an ATA Online Services Account in order to apply.
If you don't have an account you can create one at the login screen by clicking 'request an account'; otherwise sign in with your user and password.
ATA members are able to sign up for one membership council for free.
Tip: When you go to the following link, please make sure you have your teaching certificate number handy!
